29 CFR 1926.251 ( e)(l ): 29 CFR 1926.251 ( e)(l ): The employer did not mark or code synthetic web slings as specified in 1926.251(e)(l)(i) through (e)(l)(iii) to show: (i) Name or trademark of manufacturer; (ii) Rated capacities for the type of hitch; or (iii) Type of material: a. 136 Summit Avenue Jersey City, NJ Employees were using synthetic sling(s) for hoisting material, including concrete block, from the ninth floor to the elevated work platform. The sling(s) did not have markings to show the rated capacities, type of material, and the name and/or trademark was not legible, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Violation occurred on or about 03/10/2021
