29 CFR 1910.147(d): The established procedure for the application of energy control (the lockout or tagout procedures) did not cover the actions listed in and was not done in sequence as required by 29 CFR 1910.147(d)(1)-(6): On or about 11/14/20, the employer failed to ensure that lockout/tagout procedures for the pneumatic (air) systems of the tractor trailers including, but not limited to, the Hendrickson Trailer Suspension System of trailer #19379, were done in the following sequence: 1) Prepare for shutdown, 2) Machine or equipment shutdown, 3) Machine or equipment isolation, 4) Lockout/tagout device application, 5) Relieve stored energy, and 6) Verification of isolation.
