29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): (Construction Reference: 1926.59). The employer is failing to protect employees from chemical hazards. This was most recently documented on August 20, 2020 at the residential construction site located at 14013 W 72nd Shawnee KS. Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards. Employees were required to dispense gasoline into an air compressor and a copy of the required safety data sheet for gasoline was not maintained at the construction site.
