29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they are readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they are in their work area(s): a) On or about July 16, 2020, and at times prior, the employer, DBS, Inc. dba Colorado Structural Repair, did not maintain safety data sheets in the workplace that pertain to employee use of chemicals such as, but not limited to Mel-Prime: a chemical waterproofing agent which has a toluene concentration listed as 45%-50%. This condition exposed employees to chemical exposure hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
