29 CFR 1910.177(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that employees stay out of the trajectory when inflating a tire on a single piece rim wheel: (a) Firestone Complete Auto Care Service Area: On or about June 19, 2020, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from tires while inflating tires with air on the Coats Rim Clamp Tire Changer. Employee body parts were in the trajectory of tires while filling. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
