29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: Okuley's Pharmacy and Home Medical, Inc. - Defiance, Ohio: On or about April 15, 2020, the employer did not provide electrical equipment, to manufacture sanitizer, that was either intrinsically safe, approved for Class I locations, or safe for Class I locations. Employees were exposed to fire hazards while using an electrical Liberty portable transfer pump (model 331) in a lab area to filter and transfer ethyl alcohol.
