29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii): The employer did not assure that each employee, as necessary, had been trained by a competent person in the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used: On the 1440 Luce St., Cape Girardeau, MO roofing project, where work was performed between November, 2019 and April 1, 2020, training was not adequate including for the following elements: when connection of fall protection personal protective equipment to an anchor was required depending on the slope of the roof being worked on, if connection was required at all times or depending on removal of tile or for installation of new, and if connection was dependent on the type of work, such as carrying tiles onto the roof and for installation. Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
