29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazard: a) Melt Deck: On or about 2/27/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to burn hazards, in that a personal protective equipment (PPE) assessment did not determine the hazards when employees are exposed to materials that are at a temperature of 2000-2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
