29 CFR 1910.133(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that employees wearing prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards wears eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design or wears eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses. (a) On or about January 7, 2020, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that employees donned protective safety glasses when they were exposed to potential flying debris while operating machinery to process lumber products. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
