29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(i): Process safety information pertaining to the equipment in the process involving highly hazardous chemicals did not include the elements specified in 29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(i)(A) through (H): On or about February 19th, 2020, the employer did not ensure that the process safety information pertaining to the chlorine system included the elements specified in 29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(i)(A) through (H). The process safety information for the system did not include the following information: a) Materials of construction for process equipment that includes, but is not limited to, multiple valves throughout the system and ventilation system equipment; b) Piping & instrument diagrams for the current process equipment configuration that includes, but is not limited to, the location and configuration of relief valves, emergency shut-off valves, and sensors & associated logic controllers; c) Relief system designs and design basis; d) Ventilation system design, that includes but is not limited to, ductwork dimensions, motor locations, and other associated equipment, and; e) Safety systems, which include but are not limited to, the automatic shut-off valves and their associated electronic controls, and the ventilation system & the associated electronic controls.
