29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(12): Ladders shall have nonconductive siderails if they are used where the employee or the ladder could contact exposed energized electrical equipment, except as provided in 1926.951(c)(1) of this part. A) 20 Poplar Rd., Bloomsbury, NJ 08804 - Employees were exposed to electrocution hazards while performing roofing activities at a residential home. The employer did not ensure the secondary power source was de-energized prior to the start of work. A 24 foot aluminum extension ladder was set up less than 10 feet to a weather head (100-200 amp/110-120v). Occurred on or about 12/18/2019.
