29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed: A.) Microtech Knives, Inc., 300 Chestnut Street Ext., Bradford, PA 16701, on or about December 12, 2019 and times prior thereto: Employees use personal protective equipment that includes, but is not limited to, special gloves for handling liquid nitrogen, thermal gloves and aluminized aprons for heat treating, and cut-resistant gloves for handling parts. The employer does not have a documented and certified personal protective equipment hazard assessment for these operations. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
