29 CFR 1910.176(c): Storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constitute hazards from tripping, fire, explosion, or pest harborage. On or about November 8, 2019, and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that the stock room was free of tripping and fire hazards where boxes and U-boats (merchandise carts) were strewn in an unorganized manner throughout the storage area exposing employees to fire and tripping hazards. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1269761, citation number 1, item number 2B and was affirmed as a final order on September 7, 2018, with a final abatement date of September 10, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1155 S. Havana Street, Unit 23, Aurora, CO 80012; and Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1017821, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on December 9, 2015, with a final abatement date of November 4, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 630 Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY 11757.
