29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) 188 Erie St., Building #3 - On or about and prior to October 1, 2019, employees wore half-mask air-purifying respirators while performing hand sanding and orbital sanding of window sashes and door frames painted with lead-based paint. The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or used the respirator in the workplace.
