29 CFR 1928.57(a)(11): Employer did not ensure moving machinery parts did not present a hazard during servicing or maintenance, the engine WAS NOT stopped, the power source disconnected, and all machine movement stopped before servicing or maintenance is performed. a) Double L Windrower 6540, SN 251174063182, potato harvesting field in Burley, Idaho, on or about October 3, 2019 and at times prior thereto: Employer did not protect agricultural machine operators from crushing injuries during maintenance and servicing of the machine when employer attempted to dislodge a metal tool from the conveyor belt while the power source was still connected. Residential energy caused the belt to shift. Note* Abatement certification IS required for this item.
