29 CFR 1910.29(f)(2): Finger clearance. The minimum clearance between handrails and any other object was not 2.25 inches: Building 1327, Retail Store, Stairwell access to the 2nd floor: Employees were accessing stairs that had a single square iron top rail to retrieve tires that were stored on the 2nd floor in conjunction with their normal duties. The top rail was installed flush with the wall and did not allow employees to fully grip the railing. Employees were exposed to trip/miss-step and falls.
