29 CFR 1910.333(a): Safety-related work practices were not employed to prevent electric shock or other injuries resulting from either direct or indirect electrical contacts, when work was performed near or on equipment or circuits which were or could be energized: On or about September 10, 2019, an employee performed preventative maintenance such as thermal imaging, near energized electrical components. The employee did not utilize safety-related work practices to prevent injuries from direct or indirect electrical contacts, such as by wearing electrical protective equipment or shielding at all times when working on or near energized components up to 600 volts. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
