29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Inspection, maintenance, and repair. The employer must ensure: Walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition; a) On or about August 20, 2019 the employer did not ensure that the degas vessel platform was inspected and maintained in a safe condition in that during the degas vessel rotation there is a pinch point created by the wedge hole of the trunnion and the platform when the platform is raised.
