29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a) For employees doing masonry work at 48 Columbia Drive in Tampa, on or about 25 June, 2019. Employees were not trained on the hazards of scaffolding and how to assemble the scaffold correctly. Employees designated as competent erected tubular frame scaffolding without the use of base plates creating a scaffold collapse fall hazard.
