29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): a) Northern Colorado Concrete, Inc. at the Martin Marietta Greeley Asphalt Plant, 925 N 35th Ave., Greeley, Colorado: On or about 6/19/2019 the employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s). Employees work with concrete on a daily basis in the demolition and installation of ramps, sidewalks, driveways, and other concrete structures. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards associated with concrete. Northern Colorado Concrete was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1238644, citation number 01, item number 001a and was affirmed as a final order on 11/6/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 31793 County Rd. 29, Greeley, Colorado, 80631.
