29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Jobsite, 50 Oak Grove Road, Pine Grove - The employer did not instruct employees to recognize or avoid the unsafe condition or understand the regulations and need to control or eliminate hazards associated with excavation operations while performing excavation and trenching activities, exposing employees to struck-by and engulfment hazards, on or about March 5, 2019. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification and documentation is required for this violation.
