29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures: On or about January 23, 2019, at 1039 Gulf Drive, Summerland Key, Florida, 33402, the employer did not ensure employees working on a roof discarded the plastic debris (backing) that was removed from the peel-and-stick type roofing materials, thereby exposing employees to slip and fall hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
