29 CFR 1915.7(c)(6): The employer did not ensure that each designated competent person had the ability to inspect, test and evaluate spaces to determine the need for further testing by a Marine Chemist or a Certified Industrial Hygienist. (a) Port of Toledo - F/V Pegasus - On or about November 14th, 2018 and at times prior thereto, JAG Industrial and Marine Services exposed its employees to fire, explosion, engulfment, and suffocation hazards while performing hot work with plasma and oxygen/acetylene torches on the Pegasus.
