29 CFR 1910.95(k)(1): The employer did not train each employee who is exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.95(k). The employer did not institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program: a) Classic Window Coverings, LLC - An employee blowing off dust from panels was exposed to noise at a time weighted average (TWA) of 95.8 dBA, which exceeded the extended 10 hours action level of 83.4 dBA. Noise training in accordance with the standard was not conducted, on or about, 12/17/18. b) Classic Window Coverings, LLC - An employee operating the route hole machine was exposed to noise at a time weighted average (TWA) of 90.6 dBA, which exceeded the extended 10 hours action level of 83.4 dBA. Noise training in accordance with the standard was not conducted, on or about, 12/17/18. c) Classic Window Coverings, LLC - An employee operating the louver LM machine was exposed to noise at a time weighted average (TWA) of 86.5 dBA, which exceeded the extended 10 hours action level of 83.4 dBA.
