29 CFR 1910.147(f)(1)(ii): When lockout or tagout devices temporarily were removed from the energy isolating device and the machine or equipment was energized to test or position the machine, the employees were not removed from the machine or equipment area in accordance to the paragraph (e)(2): a) Converting Department- On or about November 20, 2018, the employer did not ensure that all employees were safely positioned or removed while performing testing or positioning on machines or equipment, such as the 141 Press. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
