29 CFR 1910.37(b)(5): Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit must be marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, or be identified by a sign indicating its actual use (e.g., closet). (a) On or about August 28, 2018, and time prior, to employees were exposed to fire hazard when the emergency exit sign was indicating exit when in fact the door was blocked by danger tape near the woman's restroom.
