29 CFR 1910.252(c)(1)(iv): The employer did not include the potentially hazardous materials employed in fluxes, coatings, coverings, and filler metals, all of which are potentially used in welding and cutting, or are released to the atmosphere during welding and cutting, in the program established to comply with the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) (� 1910.1200). a) On or about August 11th, 2018 or prior thereto: Entry was conducted into a 8000 gallon 1988 Beat Tanker DOT classified 306 trailer to weld a baffle. The employer did not have a hazard communication program that corresponded to hazardous chemicals in the welding process such as the flux core and steel tank. b) On or about August 14th, 2018 or prior thereto: Mig welding was conducted on a 8000 gallon 1988 Beat Tanker DOT classified 306 trailer to repair a vapor rail. The employer did not have a hazard communication program that corresponded to hazardous chemicals in the welding process such as the flux core and steel tank.
