Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001B Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.451(f)(15): Ladders shall not be used on scaffolds to increase the working level height of employees, except on large area scaffolds where employers have satisfied the criteria in sub-paragraphs (i) through (iv): (a) This violation occurred on or about August 8, 2018 in the restaurant area, where employees working from a 6 foot A-frame ladder used to increase the working level height of employees and set on a Werner mobile scaffold (built one by two tiers high) were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twelve (12) feet to the concrete floor below. The scaffold was not a large area scaffold.
