29 CFR 1910.140(c)(21): The employer must provide for prompt rescue of each employee in the event of a fall. (a) Native Tree Service, LLC., at 9241 High Street in Thornton, Colorado 80229: On or before July 6, 2018, the employer failed to provide prompt rescue in the event of an emergency situation while using a personal fall protection system. When an employee became injured while in a tree, 30 feet from the ground, the employee was stuck in that tree for up to 30 minutes because no prompt rescue was provided to the employee. This exposes employees to fall hazards of 30 feet.
