29 CFR 1910.107(c)(8): Portable lamps. Portable electric lamps shall not be used in any spraying area during spraying operations. Portable electric lamps, if used during cleaning or repairing operations, shall be of the type approved for hazardous Class I locations. a. On or before June 6, 2018, in the East bay, a portable 120 VAC light (ID: unknown) was located and used in the demarcated spraying area during spraying operations. The portable light was covered with paint overspray.
