29 CFR 1910.269(l)(4)(i): When an employee uses rubber insulating gloves as insulation from energized parts (under paragraph (l)(3)(iii)(A) of this section), the employer shall ensure that the employee also uses rubber insulating sleeves. This violation occurred on or about May 21, 2018, when prior to pole removal/replacement and while working with live electrical power lines, the employer did not ensure or provide employees exposed to live electrical power lines with insulated sleeves. Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards of 7,200 v.
