29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a. On or about May 22, 2018, located at the Grant Park Apartments at apartment building 2A, the employer did not instruct employees in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions while employees were performing masonry work from scaffolding, thereby exposing the employees to struck-by, caught-between and fall hazards.
