Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001B Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy. 100 Simplex Dr, Westminster, MA On March 27, 2018 and at times prior, the energy control procedures for various printing and cutting machines only listed electrical as a hazardous energy source, but the machines also had pneumatic sources of energy. Also the procedures did not identify the devices to lock them out. The Bobst Expertcut did not include in the procedure the potential stored mechanical energy listed on the yellow caution placard that stated "permit machine parts to come fully to rest at all times before entering."
