29 CFR 1926.451(b)(4): Each end of a platform, unless cleated or otherwise restrained by hooks or equivalent means, shall extend over the centerline of its support at least 6 inches (15 cm). On Feb. 28, 2018, located on the north side of a residential structure, an employee was observed working from a tubular welded frame scaffold platform that did not have the end of the platform extend at least 6 inches over the centerline of its support.
