29 CFR 1910.107(c)(5): Electrical equipment not approved for locations containing both deposits of readily ignitable residues and explosive vapors was present in spraying area(s): (a) PAINT SPRAY BUILDING - Employee(s) performed paint spraying operations on logging equipment parts, and there was non-approved electrical equipment that contained heavy deposits of paint residue, including 20 fluorescent lighting fixtures, two 110 volt electrical outlets, two electrical light switches, and a 30 inch industrial fan, on or about May 2, 2018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
