29 CFR 1910.29(b)(1): The top edge height of top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, were not 42 inches, plus or minus 3 inches, above the walking-working surface: a) Hydro Laboratory- On February 15, 2018, the employer did not provide a top rail at the appropriate height on the testing platform to prevent employee(s) from falling approximately nine feet to the concrete floor below. The railing that was provided measured 33.5 inches. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
