29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a. On or about November 28, 2017, at the above referenced worksite, employees were exposed to fall, struck-by, and electrical shock hazards while engaged in construction activities. The employer failed to instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions or the proper regulations to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
