29 CFR 1910.22(b): The employer does not ensure that each walking-working surface can support the maximum intended load for that surface: On or about November 15, 2017, on the second level in the plating area, employees were allowed to access and store multiple large floor fans on a second level grated surface without ensuring the surface can support the stored equipment. Employees were exposed to being struck by falling equipment. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to ensure that storage on the second level in the plating area does not exceed the maximum intended load for that surface.
