29 CFR 1926.1408(g)(1): The employer did not train each operator and crew member assigned to work with equipment on topics of this section; On or about 10/12/17 at 702B Eraste Landry Road, Lafayette, LA, the employer failed to train his employee in the hazards associated with standing next to a truck crane while it approached or rested near a potentially energized zone, the need for crew in the area to avoid approaching or touching the equipment and the load, and the safe clearance distance from power lines; thus the employee received an electrical shock and was hospitalized.
