29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1): Construction areas were not posted with legible traffic signs at points of hazards: (a) On September 16, 2017 and at times prior thereto; the employer did not provide at least one advance warning sign in the westbound lane to warn road users of work that was taking place and that the shoulder was closed, thus exposing employees to work zone struck-by hazards. ABATEMENT NOTE: Reference MUTCD standards 6G2-b(4) that require advance warning or advance warning signs to show a point of hazard. NOTE: Abatement certification and documentation IS required for this item.
