29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Walking-working surfaces were not inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition. a. Honda Transmission Manufacturing of America, Inc. located in Russells Point, Ohio: On or about August 11, 2017, the employer did not ensure the working surface on top of the dip well for furnace 1652 was inspected regularly and maintained in a safe condition. An employee changing-out a dip well filter, stepped through a 6 inch wide opening and fell through into the 1200 degree F molten aluminum bath.
