29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: The employer failed to ensure that employees are protected against flying debris. On or about 08/02/2017, at 5580 Vinmil Road, House Springs, MO, Aim to Amaze Outdoor Services Inc. did not ensure that their employees wore eye and/or face protection (safety glasses and/or safety glasses with face shields). Employees were not equipped with eye protection while they worked with and around the Bandit 200 wood chipper. This condition exposed employees to eye injury from flying wood particles.
