29 CFR 1910.132(c): Personal protective equipment was not of safe design and construction for the work to be performed: a) Spiral Department - The employer did not specify which work gloves employees must use when operating the beader machine, thereby exposing employees to caught in, crushing or amputation of upper body parts on or before May 10, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
