29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: On or about May 31, 2017, the employer did not perform a periodic inspection of the energy control at least annually. Employees perform such operations as maintenance mold changes on the injection molding machine. Employees were exposed to the hazard of being caught-in the machine and/or an electrical shock hazard from an unexpected start-up of the machine.
