29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer does not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about March 17, 2017, the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Hazard Assessment, completed in November, 2015, does not include all recognized hazards in the facility including, but not limited to, eye and face protection for welders helpers and custodial employees pouring cleaning chemicals. Employees are exposed to hazards associated with eye and skin exposure to UV light and physical contact with chemicals.
