29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) North side of entrance overhang on roof: Employee using a pneumatic nail gun while installing framing pieces for the eaves of the entrance overhang was not using any eye protection, on or about 02/24/2017; b) North side, west end of building; exterior wall of the Pro-Shop: Employee using a pneumatic nail gun while attaching sheeting above the windows was not using any eye protection, on or about 02/24/2017. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
