29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s) Identity Services LLC, Geneva Commons job site: on or about February 3, 2017, inspection programs were not developed and implemented in the workplace, and a competent person(s) was not designated for frequent and regular safety inspections of the job site and equipment hazards. Employees were servicing and installing electric signs and other components while working from aerial lifts at heights, including Elliott HI Reach model ECL 3 55 CH, where employees were exposed to struck-by, caught-in, and fall hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
