29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8) The employer did not ensure that ladders were used only for the purposes for which they were designed: a) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Anodizing: Employees used a self-supporting portable Louisville A-frame ladder in the folded position to gain access into an anodizing tank from the bridge, on or about 2/3/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
