29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not train each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards to enable them to recognize fall hazards and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) The employer did not ensure that employees were trained to recognize and protect themselves from fall hazards. Employees conducting roofing operations on an eight-twelve (8:12) pitch roof were not protected from falling to the lower level.
