29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy. a) Re-pack Lines; On or about September 5, 2016, employees were exposed to potential amputation hazards due to the fact that the establishment's hazardous energy control procedures did not include specific written energy control procedures for each piece of equipment / machine that required Lock Out/Tag Out during service and maintenance. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
